As part of our commitment to our community, we have chosen to list a few of the organizations we support with financial contributions and donations of time. A portion of our sales are sent monthly to a not-for-profit organization.

Please email us if you have a favorite not-for-profit group for us to consider.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

The Komen Foundation was founded in 1982 on a promise made between two sisters – Nancy Goodman Brinker and her dying sister, Susan Goodman Komen. Nearly 25 years later, the Komen Foundation is an international organization that fulfills its mission through a network of more than 75,000 volunteers working through more than 100 Affiliates in more than 15,000 communities to fund innovative breast cancer research and vital community outreach programs. Since inception, the Komen Foundation has invested more than $630 million in its four-prong mission of research, education, screening and treatment. Working through a network of U.S. and international Affiliates and events like the Komen Race for the Cure® and the 3-Day walk, the Komen Foundation is fighting to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by funding research grants and supporting education, screening and treatment projects in communities around the world.

More than 200,000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in the United States this year and more than 40,000 American women and men will lose their lives to the disease. One woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes. Every 13 minutes, the disease claims another life in the United States. Join us as we help support Jennifer and Sandy who walk to bring an end to Breast Cancer. During the months of June, July and August we will donate a portion of all sales to the 3-Day walk. You can learn more about the Susan G. Koman Foundation and the 3-Day walk on their website.

Heifer International

With Heifer’s proven approach – almost 60 years in the making – to helping people obtain a sustainable source of food and income.

Cornerstones guide our efforts to end world hunger and care for the earth.

“Passing on the Gift” means recipients agree to share the offspring of gift animals with others in need, making them equal partners with Heifer in the fight to end world hunger.

Community Involvement drives our work, because we provide animals and training to organized local groups that request assistance.

Caring for the Earth & Agroecology infuses everything we do, because a community’s ability to support itself depends on its ability to preserve and protect its land, its water and its other natural resources.

Stray Rescue of St .Louis

Stray Rescue's sole purpose is to rescue stray animals in need of medical attention, restore them to health, and place them in loving adoptive homes.

Virtually all of the pets we save have been abused and neglected. They've been dumped on highways, or remote country roads. Abandoned in public parks, empty houses and dark alleys. We've even saved dogs left chained behind buildings after their owners had moved away.

Rescued animals often make the best pets. Pets from Stray Rescue seem to understand that they have a second lease on life. In return for a little affection and attention, these remarkable animals reward their new owners with a love and loyalty unmatched anywhere.

The Animal Rescue Site

The Animal Rescue Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific need -- providing food for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in the US every year. Over 10 million animals are put to death every year in the US alone because they are unwanted, abandoned, or abused.

Each click on the purple "Feed an Animal in Need" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food for an animal at North Shore Animal League America or at one of the Fund For Animals' world renowned animal sanctuaries, including the Black Beauty Ranch in Texas and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in California.

Fitness Fire Nutritional Supplements

About our beginning

The idea for Fitness Fire began from a casual conversation. We had a vision of a company with a conscience. We wanted a way to give back to the community that encompasses our neighborhood, but that also stretches beyond the borders of the United States and reaches around the world.

We are driven by the belief that our products and design services are creating positive changes in people’s lives. Enhancing one’s own quality of life enables that person to be a catalyst for other lives. Fitness Fire serves as a catalyst by donating a percentage of our profits to several not-for-profit organizations local, national and international. By also dedicating our time and talents to volunteer efforts, we create a presence that is invaluable to the community in which we all live.

"Ignite your spirit and your body will follow," has become the mantra by which we conduct our lives and our business.

We are 100% woman-owned.
